Martin Luther said, “Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in spring-time.”
God leaves us messages everywhere, not just the Bible. In Acts 14:15-17, Barnabas and Paul spoke of God as the Creator and the proof was in seeing the beauty of nature that He created.
In Matthew 6:26, 28, Jesus spoke of the provisions provided by God to the birds of the air, and how flowers grow as God intended. If God cares about these things, He cares about us!
The beauty of spring is more than the return of life to the land. It’s more than the collage of colour that bursts forth with the promise of summer. It is a reminder that life can always start again. It tells us that our lives can have a fresh start because of Jesus.
